About Winston

When I was in college, I was taught how to write haiku by the award-winning poet Bill Pauly (who himself had been a student of one of the first US haiku poets, Fr. Raymond Roseliep.) After college I moved to the Kansai region of Japan, most notably Kyoto and Osaka. I resided in Japan from 1988 to 1993.

As you'll hopefully notice, I prefer writing senryū.
